This Privacy Policy explains how AstroNova ("we", "us", "our") handles data in connection with our internal software that manages our own YouTube channels. Our application is a private, back-end tool used solely by us to operate the YouTube channels we own. It is not a public or user-facing product, and we do not offer it to, or collect data from, third-party users.
Our application uses YouTube API Services. By using our tooling in connection with those services, we agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. We also comply with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.
Google's Privacy Policy governs Google's handling of any data accessed through the YouTube API Services: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Authenticating through Google OAuth 2.0 for channels we own, our application accesses only the data required to manage those channels: live broadcast and live stream resources we create on our own channels (titles, descriptions, schedules, stream keys); and videos we upload to our own channels and their metadata (titles, descriptions, categories, thumbnails). We do not access, collect, or store data belonging to other users or channels. We do not display YouTube data to any third party, and we do not sell, sublicense, or redistribute YouTube API data.
Accessed data is used exclusively to create, schedule, and manage live broadcasts, and to upload and organise devotional video content, on the YouTube channels we own and operate. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to managing our own channels.
We store only the minimum operational data needed to run our channels (for example, OAuth tokens for our own accounts and identifiers of broadcasts we create). Authorization tokens are stored securely and used only to call the YouTube API on our own behalf. We retain this data only as long as necessary and delete it when it is no longer needed.
Access is controlled by our own Google accounts. Authorization granted to our application can be reviewed or revoked at any time via the Google Security Settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Upon revocation, our stored authorization data for that account is deleted.
We do not share, sell, or transfer YouTube API data to any third party. Data remains within our internal channel-management operations.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
